LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD COMMUNITY FORUM (RECAP OF 12/29/2016)
Thank you so much for taking your time in reading this recap. This is officially the first recap from us for 2017 and we’re happy to be still up and running. Thank you to those who were able to attend the last “Let Your Voice Be Heard Community Forum,” and we understand if you weren’t able to attend the last meeting, this recap will summarize what took place. We also would like to thank all of the organizations represented in the forum such as 1Community 1Orlando, FRRC, Saving Our Daughters, HBI Project Bridge, New Image Youth Center, Parramore Kidz Zone, Men of Power, Justice for Fathers, My Brother’s Keepers, and more. We discussed the upcoming dates of certain events such as community outreach, community peace walks, after school outreach, upcoming event dates, and more. To keep it simple, we have provided a list of upcoming dates and items that can be used for these events, if you wish to contribute. We have also included the location and start dates of the events. Please reply to the email, or contact us on Facebook at “Let Your Voice Be Heard, Inc.” to let us know if you can commit to certain items such as donations, t-shirt costs, and arriving for events. Moving forward into 2017, we want to be as clear and open with communication as possible, in order to ensure our success. We all have contributed great ideas that we WILL implement, but it is on US to make these things happen.
