LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD COMMUNITY FORUM RECAP 02/28/2017
GREETINGS FAMILY,
Once again, we would like to thank you for taking your time out to read this recap of the last Let Your Voice Be Heard Community Forum that took place 02/28/2017 at Global Dynasty Corps. We thank everyone who was in attendance and we understand that weekdays may not be the best time for everyone so moving forward we have moved the forums to a permanent weekend date. They will take place on every 3rd Saturday of the month at 7:00pm. The next Let Your Voice Be Heard Community Forum will take place 03/25/2017 at Global Dynasty Corps. This is just one of the many permanent dates we are setting for our events such as the youth after school outreach, community outreach walks, community peace walks, community workshop dates and more. This information will be included in the recap portion. Also, take note that all past forum and event information can be viewed live at www.blackorlandounited.com. The newsletter will be released on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017. There are upcoming events that we can use volunteers and donations for, we now have implemented signup sheets for each event so that after a person has expressed interested in an event, we will follow up with them and coordinate how we can all work together. Also for all events and group outings we would like for each person to have Let Your Voice Be Heard apparel. If you will like to sign up for an event and do not have apparel yet, please contact us so we can order you apparel and give it to you for our volunteer discount. We appreciate all the support that we have received and love that we are showing that we can come together and make a bigger impact. In lieu of recent events that the Orange County Fair we would like to step up our range and attend and facilitate outreach at public events. We are asking for anyone who is interested in our public events outreach to reach out to us ASAP. We know that change will not come over night but we do believe that together we can make a permanent and major impact.
