Let Your Voice Be Heard, Inc. will be hosting a monthly recurring youth crime prevention workshop for youth ages 12-17 with a focus on crime prevention by providing the youth with essential tools for success. Each workshop will consist of lessons, scenarios, role-play, group interactions, guest speakers and will focus on preventing crime by providing youth with tools on entrepreneurship, employability, knowledge of self, mannerism and etiquette, self control, anti-bullying, financial literacy, political awareness and more. This will be a 4 hour workshop that consistsof 3 hours of lessons and different activities followed by a recession and mixer at the end of each workshop. This is being facilitated by Let Your Voice Be Heard, Inc. and Commissioner Victoria Siplin of District 6 with guest speakers such as professionals, law enforcement, elected officials, non-profits, subject matter experts on crime prevention and more.
